The Accessibility for Ontarions with Disabilities Act, 2005 is the first of its kind in Canada.

Persons with disabilities should have the same opportunities as those who do not have disabilities. This is the goal of Ontario’s legislation. Businesses and organizations – like the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board – who provide goods and services to people in Ontario are required to meet certain accessibility standards in five important areas:

  • Customer Service
  • Built Environment
  • Employment
  • Information and Communication
  • Transportation

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is committed to giving people with disabilities the same opportunity of access to our services in the same location and in a similar way as these services are available to all others we serve.

For comments and feedback with regard to accessibility at the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board, please complete the feedback form and return it to us as outlined on the form.
